Each creation is born from a vibrant environment in the Haut St-Laurent region since 2022, where the earth, seasons, and natural cycles inspire authentic formulations. The treatments are designed with sensitivity and passion: personalized beauty products, infused with modern herbalism and authentic aromatherapy.

They combine traditional knowledge and the power of plants to meet the specific needs of the skin, with consistency, simplicity and depth, because every molecule counts!

Fleur de l'Ouest was born from a deep desire to control what I give to my skin and to offer this same commitment to those who share this requirement.

A small artisanal soap factory and creator of formulas suitable for all skin types, I produce in small quantities, with rigor, favoring raw, local ingredients, and gentle methods. Local products, lavender essential oil grown a few steps away, maceration of noble oils and ancient herbs picked in my gardens or harvested in the wild meadows and neighboring forests: everything is chosen with care, to create sincere care, close to the earth. Here, nothing superfluous, nothing synthetic unnecessarily.

✧ About mica and child labor

At Fleur de l'Ouest, beauty only has meaning if it is aligned with respect for all living things—human, plant, animal, and mineral.

This is why we refuse to use any mica whose origin cannot be clearly traced.
Mica, the mineral that gives soaps and cosmetics a luminous glow, is often mined under appalling conditions. In some parts of the world, particularly India, illegal mica mining is unfortunately linked to child labor, which exposes them to serious health and safety risks.

We consider every ray of light worthless if it is tainted by injustice.

At Fleur de l’Ouest:

– We only use ethically certified micas, from transparent sources or responsible laboratories.
– When possible, we favor safe plant, mineral or synthetic alternatives, without human exploitation.
– We are actively working to reduce our use of mica and to support truly responsible cosmetics.
